Primeros pasos para un FORMATO seguro en tu PC/Laptop. Formating your PC/Laptop the EASY way.

Bueno, acá una primer parte de "como logro tener el formato deseado" en mi PC/Laptop, sin tanto rollo...
Los porque del formato pueden ser tan variados como desear una actualización, o un nuevo sistema operativo en la computadora, cambiar de SO (Sistema Operativo) ó (la más común de todas) calló virus a tu DD (Disco duro) y has de formatear tu computadora.
Well, here's a "first part" on "how to get your formatting done the right way", on any Laptop/PC, whitout a the "fuzz"...
The various reasons for any formatting can be very varied, be it a change of OS, a virus avoiding strattegy or simply to "erase" old data and get a new fresh formated HD (hard drive).

EL PRIMER PASO básico es siempre, "respaldar". Y aunque parece demasiado obvio, en más de una ocasión he visto sistemas instalados "dobles", o que me hablan porque un "error" en la instalación los dejó sin poder acceder a la computadora.
THE FISRT STEP of the "basics" is to allways BACKUP. And it may seem a bit obvious to some, but it's a very missused step or one that goes underestimated by most. It's tragic, but many a times I've heard a freind or client say they lost important documentation or files because of a poorly exectuted "Formating rutine". I've also heard of the "horror story" of a format that went wrong and that the "technitian"wasn't able to get the data back or the system going.

En el "paso" de respaldo, hay que considerar siempre que se puede "perder" información por diversos motivos, pero lo más relevante es que NO transportemos virus al nuevo DD (de almacenamiento) o que podamos "verificar y desinfectar" la información respaldada.
In the "backup step" of any formatting you have to consider any information that can be lost during the scanning or "erasing processes", but the most relevant observation here is not to "transport" any viruses to the "backing up HD" (as a recomendation I never use a "same drive partition" but rather a separate HD alltogether. as it's easier to chek and clean with your AV software.

La mejor forma de lograr esto es con un DD externo, o separado que pueda después ser "analizado" por separado OJO, No usen una "partición" del mismo DD físico, ya que esto no suele dar los mejores resultados. Un Disco Duro separado e independiente da siempre los mejores resultados.
The best way to do this is to get a sufficiently spaced external HD, and not to use a "same drive" partition, as manytimes a HD can become overtaxed during the transition of files from partition to partition.

Ahora bien, siempre habrá que hacer "búsquedas exhaustivas" de los archivos a respaldar, y en esta parte si no es nuestra PC, siempre hay que considerar la "confidencialidad" de alguna información o archivos, y la confianza que se nos deposite para tratar con la información de terceros. Así mismo, la disposición del "dueño" de la información a dejarnos TODO el acceso a su información, o en su defecto a "estar presente" durante el proceso de "respaldo" (que suele "estresar" a los usuarios finales).
Now, you'd have to allways do an "exhausting search" of this files to backup, and in this step, if the PC/Laptop it's not of our property you'd have to consider "confidentiality" issues with the information or type of files you'll be handling. Also, you'd have to check on the "owner's" disposition to either stay present with you during this part of the process or being able to get an "all access" ganted to the information.

Así pues, si estás planeando en formatear tu PC/lap o la de algún amigo, TEN siempre presente el "RESPALDAR" antes la información más sensible.
So, if you're planning in doing a formatting, ALLWAYS have this step in consideration, BACKING UP is allways usefull BEFORE any sensitive data is lost.
